I hate the way school system teaches Art. The theory is useless to me artistically; -yes its nice to know, and its all fine and god that they like it and knowing it is another thing, but I prefer not to be "burdened" with instructive, factual, or otherwise "educational" information, especially if to the detriment of the viewers enjoyment. I like my art to be free, self motivated and In my mind, "true" art; divorced from any didactic, moral or utilitarian function. My art serves no ulterior purposes but is purely an end in itself. Art to me is not something to be used as means to something else; it is something to be loved, accepted and enjoyed.
On it's own terms.
-It's part of why I don't think I would feel 'right' doing my craft for profit. When I do art, I do it for me, and for my enjoyment as well as the enjoyment of the people I choose to show it too.

I draw simply for the sake of doing so because it brings beauty to those around me, and myself as well.
